RC How To:

Savage - GH Aluminum Servo Saver - 2

Removing the old steering post and servo saver is very easy. There are two screws inside of the receiver box that need to be removed and the servo arm needs to be disconnected as well.

I went ahead and replaced the steering crank post. I had thought I had stripped one at a point and it was an original part and old so I went with all new parts.

With parts removed, it's always a good time to clean.

Savage Steering

Install and put everything back together. As I mentioned earlier, it was a perfect fit. The steering feels a little more responsive and I know there is now a stronger part for a stronger servo.
