(Page 3 - Assembly of Arms)

 

 

 

The next step was attaching the arms to first the chassis and then the axles. As I mentioned earlier the axles came assembled, but because this is for NASA, I want to make sure it is not going to come apart. I took everything apart and rebuilt it using threadlock.

 

It's a great design and logical setup and was very easy to assemble.

 

The picture below shows the different options for arm length. We will be using the extended ones.

Attached the chassis, it resembles a mechanical insect of some sort. The size of this thing is becoming evident.

Add the axles and the frame is assembled.
